The Pagani Huayra is an hypercar manufactured by Pagani, succeeding the company's Zonda. Officially debuting at the headquarters of Pirelli in Milan in February 2011, it is named after Wayra Tata, a wind god worshiped by the Puruhá Quechuas and Aymaras of the Bolivian and Peruvian Andes.
It is powered by a modified 6.0L twin-turbocharged M275 V12 from Mercedes-Benz, and has gullwing doors as well as two pairs of aerodynamic flaps which are used to generate downforce when driving above a certain speed. The Huayra coupe was limited to just 100 units as part of Pagani's agreement with engine supplier Mercedes-AMG, with availability ceasing in 2018, although variants of it including the Huayra Roadster would still continue production.
